The Jonas Warstad self assessment biography

As a student of criminal psychology, this book offends me. Not just because it's drivel, not just because the writer comes off as a self congratulatory egotist who's getting his rocks off acting like a genuine authority on the subject... But because I think Mr. Warstad may well be a psychopath, I'd love to interview him.
He claims to be a master of many things, his website states that he is a mentor and master of "energy medicine", "energy psychology" and "laws of attraction", as well as being willing to talk you through meditation or teach you self defense; all for a price, I'm sure a pittance like this book, but nonetheless. This book exposes nothing of value relating to psychopathic behavior you cannot glean from any number of better books out there, what it does however, is provide you with a trove of dangerous nonsense. Would you read a how to book on lion taming and walk into a cage with five, six hundred lb cats thinking "I've got this, that ****ing book was awesome!" I ask, because lions are less dangerous than psychopaths and in the same way training in martial arts can be detrimental to your health due to it facilitating a decreased fear and anxiety reaction in the face of danger, so can a false sense of security gained by placing too much stock in trite BS like this book is full of.
I could have written a better book than this in my second year of school, but I didn't because I have a conscience and knew that I would be silly to pretend I was something I was not at the time, an inhibition Mr. Warstad doesn't seem to suffer from. Read
"Without conscience", "People of the lie", buy a criminal psych text book, hell "the sociopath next door" is of more actual use than this pile of dung in leading someone to understand what a psychopath is and how they function.
Don't waste your money here, I'm still irritated I paid 0.50$ for the book at the local half price store.

The Psychopath Exposed

This book is amazing. As I was reading through it, I gained an understanding of what I had just gone through with a psychopath. This helped me to understand what had happened and how and that I did not have to blame myself for this. It is a true eye opener to understand that there are people in this world who actually behave like this, and care less about anyone elses feelings. It is truly a tool to help someone who has experienced this type of individual to be able to start to heal. I am so grateful for this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to understand what has happened to them and why.

Although it's a short book, it manages to repeat the same lines over and over. I don't know how reading this could help anybody understand or deal with actual psychopaths (unless you're completely ignorant on the subject). It's filled with black and white scenarios that are unrealistic and always have the same speech "remember, a psychopath doesn't understand how to love and is not your real friend..." The author presents his views as if they were scientifically backed but what you are really getting is what he thinks of sociopaths, and how he thinks you should act in hypothetical situations.
